What is CPR?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation or CPR essentially means to revive the heart & lungs using a combined technique of chest compressions & mouth-to-mouth breathing. Important organs in our body such as the heart, lungs & brain, require oxygen to function. When breathing in, oxygen from the environment enters the lungs & the heart pumps this oxygen rich blood, circulating it to the tissues & organs.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Why should I learn CPR?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

When is CPR performed?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

We perform CPR when the heart & or lungs stop working. This can happen in many situations. The most common example would be a heart attack, where the blood supply to the heart is blocked & the heart muscle is not able to function. Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course<\/span><\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course is designed for healthcare providers who initiate and direct basic through advanced life support. Course concepts are designed to be used throughout the stabilization and transport phases for both in-hospital and out-hospital paediatric emergencies.
